Logbook : of Francis Cunningham Lowry aboard the Monongahela (Sloop), 1902 November 26 - 1905 April 30.

Lowry recorded his personal logbook aboard the USS Monongahela while in the waters near the Brooklyn Navy Yard, New York; Hampton Roads, Virginia; and Cuba. Each entry contains a few lines of information including weather conditions and the names of other ships that the author sees entering and leaving ports along with the Monongahela. These ships include: Amphitrite, Dixie, Olympia, Prairie, Scorpion, Sebago, and Vixen. Also contains handwritten poems, and newspaper clippings of poems glued onto pages of the book.
